Tarte Sets Review

Hey babes! So I recently bought a few different kits on sale on Tarte.com and thought I’d give you a review of them. Hint: I can’t recommend enough, these are steals!
Tarte Sets Review: Girls Just Wanna Have Sun
‘Girls Just Wanna Have Sun’ Bronze & Sun Set ($10)
(contains: 1 Brazilliance self-tanning face towelette, travel-size Brazilliance Plus+ self tanner, deluxe Better Bod bronze & contour, & deluxe Amazonian Clay waterproof bronzer in Park Ave Princess)
My thoughts: This is such a great kit for those looking to try out a few self tanning options to see which they like best. I’ve used the Brazilliance face wipes for years to self-tan, they are my go-to! I also like the Brazilliance Plus for a natural, glowing tan that develops over four hours. The Better Bod gives an instant, matte tan that is great for when you have no time to wait for a self tan to develop. And of course, the bronzer is great for adding some contour and/or bronze glow to the face.

Tarte Sets Review: Gym Bag Grabs Athleisure Essentials
Gym Bag Grabs Athleisure Essentials ($12)
(contains: full size “Lifted” sweatproof mascara in ‘black brown’, travel-size Brighter Days highlighting moisturizer, deluxe Quench Lip Rescue in ‘nude’, & 10-count of Fresh Eyes Maracuja Waterproof Eye Makeup remover wipes)
My thoughts: This is such a great value for $12! The mascara alone retails for $23, which is almost double the cost of this kit! I’m not a huge fan of the mascara just because it isn’t a dark black, however all of the other items in the kit I LOVE. The moisturizer gives such a beautiful natural glow and the wipes are great for getting a good cleanse and keeping hydration. The real reason I was tempted by the kit is the lip balm. This is my favorite lip product out there and I have it in the shade ‘buff’ already, so I was excited to get another shade and I love this one just as much! It is a glossy finish, super-moisturizing lightly tinted nude balm product. Also, how cute is the packaging!?

You can find a bunch of other sets on Tarte.com HERE starting at just $9!

  1. I had no idea Tarte did little kits like this! I must get one to try out more of their products, and it looks like they’d also be great to take on holiday 🙂
